PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a receiving gain which does not become an over range relatively to the MR signal of an echo for phase correction and becomes optimal for the MR signal of an echo for imaging. SOLUTION: A flip angleαof an exciting RF pulse in a pulse sequence for phase correction is set smaller than the flip angle of an exciting RF pulse to be used for a pulse sequence for imaging such that the maximum signal strength of an echo train in the case of carrying out the pulse sequence for phase correction can become equal with the maximum signal strength of an echo train when carrying out the pulse sequence for imaging. Then, with the maximum signal strength of the echo train when carrying out the pulse sequence for imaging as a reference, the receiving gain of the MR signal is set.
