PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sieve case structure of a thresher, capable of more improved in screening accuracy and screening efficiency than ever, by making it easily to set and change the minimum opening of a chaff sieve and a spring load of a opening- controlling spring, so as to be more fitted for kinds of harvested crops and a wetting state thereof. SOLUTION: In this sieve case structure of the thresher, each plate of a group of chaff lip plates 17A which compose a chaff sieve 17 mounted on a sieve case 6 is joined to each of swinging support point P3 horizontally positioned at an area near to the rear top of the chaff lip plate 17A, so that the chaff lip plates 17A are interlocked with each other, each swung around the axes P3, and make it possible to control the opening of the formed chaff sieve 17, and the opening-controlling spring 31 for enforcing to lift up the group of the chaff lip plates 17A in the direction of closing the plates is mounted on the structure, so that the opening of the chaff sieve 17 is automatically controlled according to a weight of treated materials thereon. Further, a first operating lever 32 making it possible to set and change the spring load of the opening-controlling spring 31 and a second operating lever 33 making it possible to set and change the minimum opening of the chaff sieve 17 are each positioned on the sieve case structure.
