PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that pulse is generally measured on the arm, the wrist or the tip of a finger with a pulse measuring instrument, in such a case however, the abutting surface is unstable and a user feels uneasy whether the pulse can be exactly measured or not only from the waveform of a sensor. SOLUTION: A sensor for measuring the pulse is provided with a visible light emitting element for displaying a measuring state, in addition to a light emitting element and a vibration sensor, and the visible light emitting element is flickered synchronously with the pulse wave under measuring for realizing visual confirmation.
