PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube type cigarette extinguisher that has a tube for extinguishing a cigarette and has a simple structure and is low in costs. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 2 is fixed to a cigarette-extinguishing tube 1 and the shaft is inserted to a support 3. In another embodiment, the rotary shaft 2 is fixed to the support 3 and only the tube 1 may be made rotatable. The inlet of the tube 1 for introducing a cigarette to be extinguished is made funnel-shaped and the shape may be modified according to the diameter of the tube, into a pot form of truncated pyramid form, either of which is optional for receiving tobacco. The smoke never occurs immediately after a cigarette is inserted into the tube, and it is extinguished in an extremely short time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
