<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood club head which has a mass adjusting mechanism for the accurate and efficient control of the inclination of the principal axes of inertia and allows the limiting of the process of mounting a mass adjusting part to the mass adjusting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In the wood club head 1, a head outer shell part 4 is formed so that the long axis C of a weight housing chamber 7 of the mass adjusting part 6 extends parallel along a back part side 1B of a head body 2 in order to make the inclination of the axis I<SB>1</SB>, the axis I<SB>2</SB>and the axis I<SB>3</SB>of the principal axes of inertia adjustable after a hollow part 3 of the head body 2 is sealed up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
