PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate work for mounting and removing support plates of a slot machine reel unit and prevent shakes or vibrations of the support plates. SOLUTION: The slot machine reel unit 10 is provided with a frame 20, the support plates 30, a stepping motor 4 and rotary reels 50. The frame 20 includes a top plate 21 and a bottom plate 22. Each of the support plates 30 includes a part 80 to be screwed that is screwed onto the top plate 21, a retaining part 90 by which each of the support plates 30 is retained to the top plate 21, a part 80 to be screwed that is screwed onto the bottom plate 22 and a retaining part 90 by which each of the support plates 30 is retained to the bottom plate 22. On the frame 20 or a specified place of each of the support plates 30, spring parts 100 are provided for and bringing each of the support plates 30 into press contact with the frame 20 when each of the support plates 30 is fixed onto the frame 20.
