<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a health food generally intended for allergy to Japanese cypress pollen in expectation of prevention or relief from the allergy to Japanese cypress pollen and including anti-inflammatory/analgesic effect with the effect of borneol besides the conventional use of hinokitiol as construction materials. <P>SOLUTION: The preventive food from the allergy to Japanese cypress pollen made from Japanese cypress leaves is obtained by putting the Japanese cypress leaves in a pan, adding water thereto, boiling the product for 5-6 h so as to liquidize the components of the leaves and refining the product through a filter. As an example, the preventive food from the allergy to Japanese cypress pollen made from the Japanese cypress leaves is used as a health drink. The health drink is obtained by collecting the Japanese cypress leaves, washing them well followed by putting them in the pan, adding water thereto, boiling the product for 5-6 h while adding boiled hot water thereto so as to keep the water content constant and liquidizing the components of the Japanese cypress leaves and refining the product through the filter to obtain the raw material of the Japanese cypress leaves, and then seasoning the raw material with honey and syrup so as to make it pleasantly drinkable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
