PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind sorting apparatus which does not deteriorate the working environment surrounding the apparatus by dust or malodor, while retaining conventional sorting functions. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a wind tunnel housing 20 having a charging opening 22 to charge sorting materials at the top side; a conveyer 26 placed along the longitudinal direction in the housing 20; an air blower 24 to the charging opening 22, placed at a position on the down-stream side in the conveying direction of the sorting material on the conveyer 26 to blow wind into the inside of the housing 20 toward the upstream side in the conveying direction of the sorting materials on the conveyer 26; discharge openings 29, 30 places at the positions of the up- and down-stream sides in the conveying direction of the sorting materials on the conveyer 26 at the lower part side of the wind tunnel housing 20 to discharge sorted materials; an air feeding opening 32 and an air exhausting opening 34 placed at the up- and down-stream sides of the wind tunnel housing 20, respectively; and a circulating duct 36 arranges to connect both ends of the air feeding opening 32 and the air exhausting opening 34 of the wind tunnel housing 20.
