PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color coating method for an exterior material of such as a building by which finishing with two or more colors can be easily carried out and sheet pieces to be discarded can be advantageously utilized. SOLUTION: This multi-color coating method comprises steps of sticking a multilayer joint sheet, which is perforated so as to form a hole part A by removing a portion in a desired shape with which a sheet piece having the same shape to be coupled can be formed, to an object to be coated; after that, forming the hole part A by removing the portion with the desired shape along with the perforated line for forming a sheet piece A' to be coupled with the hole part A; forming a first coating film by applying a first coating material through the hole part A; peeling the uppermost layer of the multilayer joint sheet; after that, further forming a hole part B by removing a portion with a desired shape along with the perforated line for forming the sheet piece B' to be coupled with the hole part B; forming a second coating film by applying a second coating material through the hole part B; and peeling the second layer of the multilayer joint sheet.
