PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing spinal marrow safely, simply, effectively, and surely, and to provide an apparatus for the same. SOLUTION: This apparatus for removing the spinal marrow from an edible meat body has a hollow air supply pipe (6) and a suction tube (7), wherein the air supply pipe (6) is attached to an end of a head side of a spinal canal (3), and the suction tube (7) is partially inserted into the air supply tube (6) and supported with the tube so as to be slidable and movable, so that the spinal marrow is sucked and removed by gradually transporting the suction tube (7) from the head side of the spinal canal (3) to the tail side, while supplying compressed air through the air supply pipe (6).
