INDOOR AIR VENTILATION FILTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor air ventilation filter to ventilate air in a room and to prevent intrusion of contaminants such as dust and pollen from outdoor. SOLUTION: The indoor air ventilation filter is produced by joining a synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric (A) having 10 to 50 g/m2unit weight and 0.2 to 0.4 g/cm3average apparent density and a synthetic fiber nonwoven fabric (B) having smaller average apparent density by 0.03 to 0.2 g/cm3than that of the nonwoven fabric (A) and having 10 to 50 μm average fiber diameter and 10 to 50 g/m2unit weight on at least one surface of the fabric (A) by using a hot-melt resin applied by 1 to 20 g/m2. The obtained filter has 0.05 to 0.4 g/cm3average apparent density, ≥10 cc/cm3/sec air permeability and ≤100 μm maximum aperture diameter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
