POSITIONING METHOD FOR WELDING LAP JOINT STRUCTURAL MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly agree the position forming a weld line of two plates with each other when the two plates are integrated with each other by a flange part weld joint structure to form a lap joint structural member. SOLUTION: A sealed structure W is formed by performing the continuous welding on the entire peripheries of flange parts 3 and 4 after overlapping a lower panel 1 and an upper panel 2 which are similar to each other. The lower panel 1 is positioned in the three-dimensional direction by a positioning tool 21 with reference to a back side of the flange part 3 and an outer peripheral end face. The upper panel 2 is positioned in the three-dimensional direction by the positioning tool 21 with reference to an outer peripheral end face of a tab 5 in an area outside the contour shape of the lower panel 1 after locally forming the tab 5 protruded outward of the contour shape of the lower panel 1 in advance.
