PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formation method for a cured coating film provided with a high hardness and both stain-proof and heat cracking resistance and a cured coating film obtained by the formation method. SOLUTION: The cured coating film formation method is used for an active energy-curable composition and involves a step of applying the active energy- curable composition to a substrate surface, a first radiation step of radiating active energy in a gas atmosphere having 15% or higher oxygen concentration, and a second radiation step of radiating active energy in a gas atmosphere having less than 15% oxygen concentration in this order.
