PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket with excellent heat insulation effectiveness on the side of the shoulders. SOLUTION: A slit 3 with a length of about 40 cm is provided along the length direction from the center in the width direction of a short side edge on one side of the rectangular blanket 1 with a length of about 2.5 m to divide the short side on one side into one side part 5 and the other side part 7 in the width direction. The other side end part 13 in the length direction of this slit 3 is formed so as to be opened in a small triangle shape. The blanket 1 is used by putting the neck part in the slit 3 exposing the head part to the surface side. Both shoulders are made to be completely covered with the one side part 5 and the other side part 7 in the width direction, and internal edge parts of the side parts 5 and 7 are made to come into contact with the neck part.
