PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a legless chair allowing a user to sit straight for a long time without the benumbed legs. SOLUTION: This legless chair is provided with a seat part 2, a back part 3 provided in the back end of the seat part and formed with an opening part 5 in the width-directional central part along the vertical direction, an auxiliary seat 7 provided in the opening part and having its width-directional both sides in the upper end supported slidably to the back part along the vertical direction within a prescribed range and rotatably around the direction crossing with the vertical direction, and a raising/lowering rod 14 having its upper end pivoted to the lower end of the auxiliary seat and its lower end pivoted to the width- directional central part of the back end, and rotating its upper end in the front side of the back part using its lower end as a fulcrum by sliding the auxiliary seat downward the back part so as to retain the auxiliary seat in an approximately horizontal state.
