<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a printed matter of high quality to be provided by surely eliminating a density unevenness generated on the matter without depending upon a mechanical regulation. <P>SOLUTION: A method for printing comprises the step of correcting halftone area rate data of respective colors included in print image data for platemaking based on characteristics of the density unevenness generated on the matter when printed with a specific printer. The method further comprises the steps of manufacturing a press plate by using he correcting print image data, mounting the press plate in which the characteristics of the density unevenness is reflected in the specific printer, and printing the matter by the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
