摘要	<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating a stack gas with which endocrine disrupting substance contained in a waste gas discharged from various incinerators, a melting furnace, etc., is detoxified. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a feed port 11 for the waste gas 100 containing the endocrine disrupting substance at the side wall of the apparatus column 12, and a discharge port 13 for the waste gas 100 at an upper part of the column. A catalytic layer composed of an activated carbon fiber layer is provided in the apparatus column 12, and the waste gas 100 comes in contact with the catalytic layer, thereby the endocrine disrupting substance in the waste gas is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
