PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which the mechanism of dbpA expression promotion in a growing cell such as a cancer cell of a human hepatocyte is elucidated and carcinogenesis susceptibility of a chronic hepatitis patient caused by the mechanism is diagnosed.

SOLUTION: The polynucleotide comprises a specific human-derived DNA sequence. The method for diagnosing carcinogenesis susceptibility of a chronic hepatitis patient comprises detecting the polynucleotide.
