In the form shown, fresh air is supplied to posts 4 through a channel 41 or 42 or by a fan 16 via a filter 17 and humidifier 18. The heating pipes made of aluminium are longitudinally finned, are heated by water, steam or electricity and may form single or double flow channels. In another embodiment, the hollow laterals 5 also include heating pipes and have air outlet nozzles to induce secondary air flow within the building. Air is extracted from a room within the building on the opposite side to the outside wall and is vented to atmosphere or partially recirculated. The posts and laterals are made of aluminium and steel. Hollow posts including heating pipes may also be arranged within the building. The outer wall may be a curtain or structure supporting wall. |
