<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely sort out/remove metals from sponges when the shredder dust is reduced and recycled as resources after removing an injurious material and a valued material from crushed scraps of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: This method for recycling shredder dust of a scrapped automobile comprises processing steps including (A), (B), (C) and (D) which sort out the shredder dust and selectively recover a foamed urethane or a foamed plastics composed mainly of the foamed urethane. (A) The shredder dust is sorted out using the difference in a repulsive force of an object after removing the injurious material and the valued material. (B) A group of the materials which are sorted out in (A) and have a relatively smaller repulsive force are sorted out by specific gravity. (C) The shredder dust is sorted out by specific gravity after removing the injurious material and the valued material. (D) The group of materials which are sorted out in (C) and have a relatively smaller bulk specific gravity, are sorted out using the difference in a repulsive force of an object. A mixture of the foamed urethane, the foamed plastics composed mainly of the foamed urethane and a thermoplastic resin is used as a raw material for a blast furnace. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
