PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic treatment apparatus appropriate for treating the disease of the mammary glands by preventing the invasion of ultrasonic waves into pulmonary fields. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a container 12 having an opening 11 for storing a mammary part B of an examinee inserted from this opening, a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators 13 peripherally located inside this container and a driving means 20 for driving the plurality of ultrasonic vibrators to form a focal point F at a desired position inside the container. Thus, since the focal point of the ultrasonic waves for treatment is formed within the container, the pulmonary fields behind the breast are not irradiated with the ultrasonic waves for treatment and the ultrasonic treatment to the disease of the mammary glands can be safely applied.
