PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head capable of printing with high image quality and high liquid droplet ejecting efficiency at a low cost, a method for producing the liquid ejecting head, and an ink-jet recording apparatus capable of recording with high image quality. SOLUTION: In a liquid ejecting head for ejecting liquid droplets from a nozzle hole by deforming a diaphragm, a plurality of electrodes 14 comprising conductive structures electrically insulated with each other are provided in the diaphragm 10, and a second substrate (protection member) 2 for protecting the electrodes 14 is provided such that the part of the second substrate (protection member) 2 corresponding to the electrodes 14 is opened.
