PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect more securely medals which overflow a hopper in a medal collecting box. SOLUTION: The medal collecting box 90 and a locking adjusting mechanism 160 are arranged such that the medal collecting box 90 is stored in a space between the tip end 158 of the pawl part 150 of the locking adjusting mechanism 160 and a main body 11 when a front door 12 is closed. The locking adjusting mechanism 160 is mounted in the body so as to adjust the position of the tip end 158 to the height of the drawing part 91 of the medal collecting box 90. When the medal collecting box 90 is placed more forward than a normal position, the tip end 158 of the pawl part 150 pushes the drawing part 91 of the medal collecting box 90 so as to adjust the mounting position thereof when the front door 12 is closed. The medals which overflow the hopper 86 can more securely be collected in the medal collecting box 90. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
