PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwear for the upper body allowing obtaining of a thermal effect on acupuncture points in a maximum range having important acupuncture points of the body. SOLUTION: The underwear for the upper body is made of cloth using fibers containing kneaded far infrared radiation ceramics. The front body part 10 and the back body part 11 have a double structure of an outer material and a liner, the front body part 10 is provided with a front pocket 16 that lies over the plurality of acupuncture points in the abdominal part of the body and is inserted with a far infrared radiation sheet 40, and a back pocket 55 that lies over the plurality of acupuncture points in the back part of the body and is inserted with the far infrared radiation sheet 40 is disposed between the outer material and the liner of the back body part 11. The far infrared radiation sheet 40 inserted into the front pocket 16 an the back pocket 55 can be adjusted in its position according to target acupuncture points of a person wearing the underwear.
