PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact gas supply device and a gas supply method being convenient in carrying it and capable of realizing user's ease-of-use and obtaining promoting effect on blood circulation efficiently by a small amount of carbon dioxide by diffusing a gas component of a high concentration in water in a bathtub in a condition of many minute air bubbles to let the air bubbles float in the bathtub for a predetermined time and make the gas component reach a surface of a human body directly while keeping the high concentration for the action. SOLUTION: This gas supply device is constituted in such a way that it is provided with a vessel, a lid for sealing the vessel, a water passing passage whose one end is opened in the vessel and whose other end is opened outside of the vessel, an opening and closing valve for opening and closing the water passing passage, and a fixed flow rate valve for automatically adjusting an amount of water flowing in the water passing passage to substantially a fixed amount, foaming agent generating gas in water stored in the sealed vessel is charged, and pressure is given to the inside of the vessel by the generated gas to supply the gas generated in the vessel into the water passing passage together with the stored water.
