PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer in which the image quality of a recorded image can be stabilized. SOLUTION: The ink jet printer for forming an image by ejecting ink to a continuous recording medium comprises means for cutting a recording medium on which an image is formed, and means for fixing ink to the recording medium thus cut.
