ANTIHUMAN CHYMASE MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AND UTILIZATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antihuman chymase monoclonal antibody capable of assaying the human chymase and having high specificity, a method for assaying the human chymase, etc., utilizing the antibody and a technique of testing and diagnosing diseases associated with the human chymase.

SOLUTION: The antihuman chymase monoclonal antibody to a proteolytic product obtained by enzymically treating the human chymase is provided. The antihuman chymase monoclonal antibody to a recombinant human chymase prepared by utilizing an insect living body of the family Bombyx or the family Noctuidae or a cultured cell of the insect as a host is obtained. The method for assaying the human chymase comprises utilizing the antibodies. An assaying kit and a diagnostic agent for hypertension, allergic diseases or circulatory diseases utilize the antibody.
