PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head which enables recording at a high speed by a higher-density nozzle arrangement and enables to suppress failures at a time of manufacturing the head. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head comprises a plurality of discrete pressure chambers 2 for pressuring ink, an ink channel substrate 1 where ink supply paths 11 for supplying ink to these pressure chambers 2, ink pools 12 and ink nozzles for discharging ink pressured in the pressure chambers 2 are formed, a diaphragm 3 joined to the ink channel substrate 1 for forming a part of ink channels, and piezoelectric elements for driving 4 attached to positions corresponding to pressure chambers 2 at a face opposite to the ink channel substrate 1 of the diaphragm 3. The piezoelectric element for driving 4 is made smaller in the size than the pressure chamber 2 and is completely attached to the position corresponding to the inside of an outline of the pressure chamber 2.
