PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for casting a metallic product with which separation of a metallic base material and an edge part can easily be performed by making the edge part movable when tear-off operation of the outer layer in the metallic base material is completed. SOLUTION: The apparatus for casting the metallic product is provided with a base body 1 provided with a pressurized chamber 14 for holding the metallic base material M and a casting cavity 16, a pressurized part 3 for obtaining a cast product by pressurizing the metallic base material M held in the pressurized chamber 14 and making the material M flow into the casting cavity 16 and the edge part 4 formed between the pressurized chamber 14 and the casting cavity 16. The edge part 4 is provided with a tear-off edge 41 tearing off the outer layer M2 in the metallic base material M pressurized with the pressurized part 3. When the tear-off operation of the outer layer M2 in the metallic base material M is completed, the edge part 4 is moved from the tear- off operational position A1 to a leaving position with a first driving part 51.
