PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnet for controlling fluidity of molten metal and its manufacturing method with which working efficiency with regard to the repairing is improved, this cost is reduced and also, damage of components constituting the electromagnet can be restrained without damaging the fluidity controllability of the molten metal. SOLUTION: A gap (A) is formed between an iron core F constituting the electromagnet 3 for controlling the fluidity of the molten metal and a coil C disposed around this iron core F.
