PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correcting device of a tubular body with which the cross-sectional shape of the tubular body is exactly measured and the tubular body is exactly corrected into a prescribed shape. SOLUTION: A correcting means 22 with which external force in the radial direction is added to the tubular body 21 in plural places in the circumferential direction, a guide means 24 which is provided fixedly to the tubular bodies and a 1st dial gage 23a which is provided so that at least one rotation around the axis of the tubular body 21 is possible and with which the distance from its own reference position to the circumferential surface of the tubular body 21 is measured are included in this correcting device. The outside shape of the tubular body 21 is recognized with the 1st dial gage 23a, so the magnitude of external force to be added to places where the addition of the external force is necessary to correct the tubular body into a prescribed shape is decided. By adding the external force of the decided magnitude to these decided places by the correcting means, the tubular body is corrected into the prescribed shape exactly and in a short time.
