PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the twist of a steel sheet which is caused in the stage of cross rolling. SOLUTION: Twist preventing rolls 6, 6a, 8, 8a are installed on the inlet and outlet sides of a rolling mill by inclining at the same angle as the rolling rolls 1, 2 of the rolling mill to the advancing direction of the steel sheet or at right angle to the advancing direction of the steel sheet and the steel sheet 5 is passed through between the twist preventing rolls.
