PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood crushing device capable of being prevented from the lowering of the rate of operation by efficiently replacing a crushing bit, and a self-propelling crusher equipped with the wood crushing device. SOLUTION: The wood crushing device 23 is equipped with a crushing rotor 15, crushing bit attaching parts 18 provided to the outer periphery of the crushing rotor 15 so as to leave intervals, through-holes 18a provided to the crushing bit attaching parts 18 in the tangential direction of the crushing rotor 15, the crushing bits 16 provided to the crushing bit attaching parts 18 on the side in the rotary direction of the crushing rotor 15, cap nuts 21 and attaching bolts 20 inserted into the through-holes 18a of the crushing bit attaching parts 18 to clamp the cap nuts 21 to the threading parts thereof to fix the crushing bits 16 to the crushing bit attaching parts 18 by the head parts 20a of the bolts 20 and the cap nuts 21. The cap nuts 21 are equipped with cap parts 21b for covering the protruded parts 20b1 protruded from the threading parts of the attaching bolts 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
