PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-effect concentration system for concentrating a liquid efficiently. SOLUTION: A condenser 9, a 3rd evaporation concentrator 5, a 3rd heat exchanger 2c, a 2nd evaporation concentrator 4, a 2nd heat exchanger 2b, a 1st evaporation concentrator 3 and a 1st heat exchanger 2a are evacuated by a vacuum apparatus 10 composed of a high pressure pump 10a and an ejector 10b. The inner pressure of the 1st evaporation concentrator 3 is set to a prescribed pressure by a pressure sensing/controlling apparatus V/S1 and a 5th solenoid valve V5 and the inner pressure of the 2nd evaporation concentrator 4 is set to a 2nd prescribed pressure lower than the 1st prescribed pressure and higher than a 3rd prescribed pressure by a 2nd pressure sensing/controlling apparatus V/S2. Waste water is quickly separated into steam and concentrated water in each evaporation concentrator by utilizing the pressure difference and the concentrated water is transferred without using a pump.
