PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container (ink container) which is resistant to impact when dropped by mistake and can be manufactured without increasing manufacturing costs and without losing a recyclability. SOLUTION: The ink container 11 has a container body 1 in which a void for constituting an ink storage chamber 12 is provided and the void opens at one side face, and a lid 2 joined to the container body 1 to cover the opening. A cover member 5 is coupled to an outer face of a side wall extending in a direction intersecting the face where the container body 1 joins with the lid 2.
