PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary and usable stand for a chopping board capable of horizontally supporting the chopping board in use in a slightly floating state lifted from a dressing table, drainboard or the like and housing the chopping board when not in use in a desired site by longitudinally supporting it. SOLUTION: The stand 1A for a chopping board is formed of a pair of stand members 2A, 2A. Each stand member 2A is formed as to comprise a crosspiece 5 having a height closely similar to the thickness of the chopping board, a plurality of support legs 6 protruding sideways from the lower end part of the crosspiece 5 with the protruding length larger than the thickness of the chopping board and a void 7 wider than the width of the support leg 6 positioned between neighboring support legs 6, 6.
