PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sinker to efficiently stir up sand by lifting and dropping the sinker on the sea bottom. SOLUTION: The sinker 1 has plural legs 2 fixed to the periphery of the bottom of the sinker interposing a space between the legs. A foot 2a having an area larger than the cross-section of the leg is formed on the end of each leg 2. The leg is formed by using a nail and casting the tip side of the nail into the lead sinker 1 to form the foot 2a with the head of the nail. The leg 2 is thrust into the sand when the sinker is lowered to the sea bottom. The sand on the sea bottom is scooped with the foot (head of the nail) 2a of the leg by pulling up the sinker 1 from the bottom to stir up a large amount of sand. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
