PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low noise type trimmer by eliminating collision noise generated at clearance between eccentric cams and a blade holder, wherein the trimmer is applied to trim trees and to reshape a hedge and the like. SOLUTION: The trimmer is equipped with a buffer element 13 of wool felt or the like between eccentric cams 6 and 7 and a blade holder 11 not to directly contact the eccentric cams 6 and 7 with the blade holder 11 and so causes no noise generated by the eccentric cams 6 and 7 and the blade holder 11 and, thereby, the trimmer is improved to decrease noise.
