PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod used in a state attaching a reel for fishing having good operability, good durability and good productivity and adaptable to the deflection of the rod. SOLUTION: In the fishing rod, a fishline L is inserted from fishline guide members 11 and 11' arranged in a pair of holes 8 and 9 bored on the side (upper side) on which a reel seat 3 of the fishing rod 1 or a joint 101 for joining rods is attached and on the opposite side (lower side) and fishline guides 4 to 6' are arranged on the upper side at the base part side and on the lower side at the tip side when viewing from a pair of holes 8 and 9 so as to feed out from the lower side to the top guide 7, and a fishline guide member 12 installed in a protruding condition from the outer peripheral surface of the fishing rod to the outside so as to adjoin to the base part side of the hole 8 is provided in a guide attaching body 10 provided in the outer peripheral surface of the fishing rod so as to cover at least the upper side hole 8 of a pair of holes 8 and 9.
