PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for shaving hoof, with which the hoof of livestock, especially cattle, is cut short or shaved. SOLUTION: The cutter for shaving hoof comprises a cutter body 1 of a rectangular parallelepiped shape in which the lower part of a front plate 3 is bent outside in an L-shaped form to form a lower blade 4 and the front plate 3 and a rear plate 7 are equipped with a bearing 6 for rotatably supporting a driving screw rod 5 transversely installed at the center of the inside, a rectangular movable frame 2 which has a female screw bearing 9 to be screwed to the driving screw rod 5 on a rear frame 8 and an upper blade 11 at the position of clipping with the lower blade 4 on a front frame 10 extended in the outside of the cutter body 1, guides the side plate 12 of the cutter body 1 and is slid, a hoof cutting adjustment part 14 which is close to the lower blade 4 of the cutter body 1 and formed so as to adjust the position of a hoof cutting adjustment plate 13 and a driving apparatus 16 which is fixed to the outside of the cutter body 1 by a fitting frame 15 and rotates and drives the driving screw rod 5 transversely installed in the cutter body 1.
