<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gummy candy containing a large amount of acacia gum which is an excellent dietary fiber without exhibiting stringing and tailing when deposited and having an excellent taste and texture without causing recessed parts on the surface even when dried to ≤15 wt.% moisture content. <P>SOLUTION: The dietary fiber-containing gummy candy comprises one or more kinds of saccharides selected from the group consisting of oligosaccharides and sugar alcohols, a modified starch and the acacia gum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
