<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control method for a preform capable of certainly ensuring a wall thickness in a region easy to become thin-walled at the time of biaxial stretch blow molding. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature of the preform 14 is controlled to a proper stretching temperature before the injection-molded preform 14 is molded into a container by biaxial stretch blow molding. This temperature control method includes a process for changing the axial relative position of a temperature control pot 12 permitting the insertion of the preform 14 to control the temperature of the preform 14 with the preform 14 to perform the insertion and taking- out of the preform with respect to the temperature control pot 12, and a process for locally cooling the region of the preform 14 of which the wall thickness is desired to be ensured at the time of biaxial stretch blow molding in matching relation to the taking-out of the preform 14 by the cooling air nozzle 64 attached to the temperature control pot 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
