GLASS COMPOSITION FOR PLASMA DISPLAY LTCC-M BACK PANEL

PURPOSE: A glass composition for a plasma display LTCC-M back panel is provided, to obtain the back panel having a more compact and improved microstructure and a strong binding force to metal. CONSTITUTION: The glass composition comprises 18-23.4 wt% of ZnO; 20.7-33.4 wt% of MgO; 14.1-16.2 wt% of B2O3; 29.4-39.7 wt% of SiO2; 1.4-3.2 wt% of Al2O3; and 0-2.7 wt% of PbO. Preferably the glass composition comprises 18 wt% of ZnO; 33.4 wt% of MgO; 14.7 wt% of B2O3; 29.4 wt% of SiO2; 3.2 wt% of Al2O3; and 1.3 wt% of PbO.
