PURPOSE: A near field optical pickup device is provided to realize focusing operation by arranging a coil on a suspension arm assembly applying a laser optical spot to record and play data. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk(21) is arranged on a rotating table in a deck(28) having an optical pickup device inside. A suspension arm assembly(25) is placed crossing the upside of tracks of the optical disk. The suspension arm assembly is made up of a first suspension arm(25a) moving by making a pickup part(26) of the optical pickup device a rotary shaft, and a second suspension arm(25b) connected with the first suspension arm by two buffer support parts(22). A coil(31) is arranged on the first suspension arm and magnets(30) are arranged on both sides of the first suspension arm to realize focusing operation.
