METHOD FOR SERVING BROADCASTING SERVICE TO SMALL THEATER OR VIDEO/DVD VIEWING ROOM USING SATELLITE BROADCAST AND SYSTEM THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for serving a broadcasting service to small theaters or video/DVD viewing rooms using satellite broadcast and a system thereof are provided to economically realize a wider local service and overcome a limit on transmission bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: Information including broadcast receiving positions of small theaters or video/DVD viewing rooms capable of receiving broadcast is sent to a local control broadcasting station through a predetermined network(100). A central control broadcasting station sends broadcast contents including movie, advertisement, and news through an artificial satellite and transmits a schedule of the sent contents to the local control broadcasting station(110). The local control broadcasting station receives the contents and the schedule(120). The local control broadcasting station re-sends the contents to the small theaters or video/DVD viewing rooms according to the received schedule(130).
