PURPOSE: A semiconductor cooling device for water purifier which is capable of maximizing cooling efficiency of purified water and formed in a compact type is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a cooling device for water purifier installed at water purifier to cool purified water to a certain temperature, a semiconductor cooling device for the water purifier comprises thermoelectric cooling element(2) to which different semiconductors are connected so that one side of the thermoelectric cooling element is cooled by endothermic reaction while the other side of the thermoelectric cooling element emits heat if current is impressed to the semiconductors; cold sink(4) connected to one side of the thermoelectric cooling element to generate cold air generated from the thermoelectric cooling element; heat sink(6) connected to the other side of the thermoelectric cooling element to absorb heat emitted from the thermoelectric cooling element; fan(8) for blowing the heat absorbed from the heat sink to the outside of main body; and power supply unit(10) for supplying electricity to the thermoelectric cooling element and fan to operate the cooling device, wherein the cold sink is installed inside the cold water tank to maximize cooling effect, wherein a screw part(12) is formed in the rear end part of the cold sink, and nut(14) is connected to the screw part so that the cooling device is fixed to the cold water tank(16), and wherein a packing(26) is installed between the outer side of the cooling tank and the thermoelectric cooling element to maintain air-tightness and insulation between the cold water tank and cooling device.
