PURPOSE: A process for producing raw fabric used to manufacture of hat products is provided to reduce processing steps and load for formed products, to improve returning capability while retaining wearing feel and ventilation ability, thereby to give high quality of product. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises steps of preparing a combined material(10) containing 3-50wt.% of low temperature melting fiber in polyester fiber; heating the combined material in a heating container at 60-130 deg.C for 1-3 hours to produce a molding material(20); and arranging the molding material between female/male molds(40,40') after drying it, then pressing it at 180-210 deg.C for 2-10 seconds to produce a final product(30). The combined material(10) is under weaving condition at low density gradually decreased by directing it from bottom side to top side thereof. The low temperature melting fiber is the polyester fiber having a curing point of 125-135 deg.C.
