PURPOSE: A method for cleaning a fuser of a laser printer is provided to remove the offset toner dregs from a heating roller without mounting any additional cleaning felts and prevent the deterioration of printing quality caused by the damage of the heating roller by periodical removement of the offset toner dregs. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning method for a fuser of a laser printer includes the steps of counting the number of sheets printed while carrying out printing(S10), determining the fuser cleaning mode initiating number as the counted number becomes the number of n times of X(S20), displaying whether to carry out the cleaning mode to a display part after finishing the printing operation(S30), driving a heater until the temperature of a heating roller reaches a set temperature(S40), driving the heating roller and a pressing roller to rotate(S50), removing offset toner dregs by supplying a cleaning paper as offset toner becomes viscous(S60), and discharging the cleaning paper via the pressing roller and the heating roller to adsorb the toner dregs(S70).
