Braking force is generated by at least two round discs (11) positioned vertically adjacent to each other on two short pieces of metal wire (5) with a length of ca. 1 cm and thickness of ca. 2 mm. Each disc has a weight of ca. 20 g and contains an open slot with a width of ca. 5 mm and a length of 2.5 cm. Vertically aligned slots (2, 2a) with a width of ca. 4 mm are formed in the top and bottom sides of a hollow tube. The braking discs are secured to a guide (3) inserted into the tube so that a guide slot (4) with a width of ca. 4 mm and length of ca. 8 cm extending all the way through the guide is precisely aligned with the slots in the top and bottom of the tube.
