PURPOSE: A three-dimensional probe sensor by using a software is provided to improve reliability of the three-dimensional probe sensor with reducing cost for the three-dimensional probe sensor. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional probe sensor includes a probe, a six-point supporting section, a distance sensor, a sensor controller, a sensor-computer interface, and a computer. Firstly, an initial value is determined. Then, a zero-standby step is carried out. After initializing an accumulating count, a primary-standby step is carried out. Then, a primary deviation detecting process is carried out. According to the result of the primary deviation detecting process, the process is shifted into the primary-standby step. Then, after storing a present coordinate, a secondary-standby step is carried out. Then, a secondary deviation detecting process is carried out. According to the result of the secondary deviation detecting process, the process is shifted into the zero-standby step. Then, it is determined whether or not the accumulating count exceeds a predetermined count.
